What is the water resistant ?
The International Organization for standardization issued a standard for water resistant watches which also prohibits the term waterproof to be used with watches, which many countries have adopted. The international standard ISO 2281 Horology – Water-resistant watches defines the water resistance of watches.
Water Resistant is a common mark stamped on the back of wrist watches to indicate how well a watch is sealed against the ingress of water.The best watches are water resistant up to 50 meters, which is more than most of us would ever need. Sporty or diving watches are common water resistant up to 200 meters. This value is more an idicator of perfect craftsmanship and quality than actuall usefullness. The water resistance is given in ATM - atmosphere. One atmosphere is 10 meters.

water resistant - Suitable for everyday use, contact wigh watere during washing hands, dureing rain atc. Not sustable to deep into the water.
